Today Steve Jobs showed the world a brief preview of iPhone OS 4, coming later this summer. One of the biggest features announced was multitasking. I cannot wait for the summer to arrive so we can use iPhone OS 4.0 on our iPhones.
It is also unfortunate that the iPhone 3G is shut out of the new multitasking feature. I’m sure it would work on the iPhone 3G. As for how well it would work, that is to be determined. It’s quite possible that this has been part of Apple’s road map all along for us to continuously upgrade our Apple hardware.
